In this project, AHM managed to overcome a communication barrier with our Spanish-speaking clients and friends Hector & Jario whom we discovered on a trip to Costa Rica. When back in the States we maintained precisely translated correspondence with our international customers. Together we were able to develop a website translated into English. A few of our goals for the project were to develop a mobile-friendly site that potential customers could access from their devices while traveling. There was also a strong need to receive transfer and tour requests through a simple email-based form system. This website now serves English-speaking visitors by educating them on the surrounding attractions, accommodations, and listing and describing at length many of Tamarindo Transfer’s tours/transfers offerings and associated airport transportation information. All displayed alongside beautiful images of scenic and adventurous Costa Rica.
We are currently working with Tamarindo Transfer to further their outreach with online marketing channels such as Google ad words, Facebook, and targeted email campaigns for new and existing customers. We are also expanding their website content regularly adding new tours. We also expect to integrate a sophisticated, yet, simple to use booking system on their site to allow customers to book both tours and transfers online and on the go. The site will have a payment gateway enabling customers to make immediate payments with printable/digital travel vouchers along with a booked reservation. Taking the guesswork out of foreign currency conversions for visiting guests and allowing clients to book their reservations safely using a credit card without the need to carry cash.
Finally, we plan on working to merge their two separate brands and sites; one targeted towards Spanish-speaking clients, the other English-speaking clients to create a multi-lingual site that will identify the users location and primary language preferences and have one site with both a collective name, trademark and information.
